CNA - Weekend Option
About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistants at Beech Grove Meadows foster a warm, supportive environment that prioritizes residents’ well-being. CNAs assist residents with activities of daily living and provide companionship and reassurance, helping create a homelike environment that values dignity, respect, and individualized attention. This is a full-time weekend-option opportunity with day, evening, and night shifts available. The role requires working with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care and demonstrating American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Requirements
- Hold a valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
- Have the stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
- Work collaboratively and support a respectful, positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
- Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment that respects residents’ dignity and individual needs.
- Work with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Demonstrate compassion, accountability, relationship-building, and excellence when interacting with residents, families, customers, and staff.
