About The Position

Freedom Square of Seminole is seeking patient-centered Certified Nursing Aides to care for residents in its assisted living community in Seminole, Florida. The upscale senior living community offers independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing care. The role involves providing personal care and assistance, carrying out treatments and procedures as instructed, and maintaining residents’ rooms and comfort. Team members are expected to provide extraordinary care, work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, and uphold the community’s hospitality promises, including treating residents, coworkers, and guests with courtesy and professionalism.

Requirements

Current nursing license with the state of Florida.

Nice To Haves

Six months of nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimen collection as instructed.
Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
Answer signal lights promptly.
Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
Greet residents, employees, and guests warmly, by name, and with a smile.
Treat everyone with courteous respect and anticipate and respond to their needs.
Listen and respond enthusiastically in a timely manner.
Hold oneself and others accountable, value differences, and help residents, employees, and guests feel important.
Maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance and pay attention to details.
