About The Position

AffiniCare is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide staffing support at Care Initiatives’ skilled nursing communities. CNAs travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations within their region to help cover open shifts. The role offers a customizable, flexible schedule, with options for full-time or part-time hours and a minimum requirement of 16 hours per month. Employees may choose the facilities and shifts that best fit their needs.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Six months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
• Ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the region.
• Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitor residents’ health, including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents’ health and daily routines.
• Follow infection control protocols to help maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the employee’s region to assist with open shifts.
