About The Position

Chattahoochee Technical College is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant Program Adjunct Instructor to prepare and teach Dual Enrollment CNA classes at Gilmer High School. The position includes responsibility for the clinical requirements of the class. Class schedules are set according to the needs of the individual high school. Adjunct appointments are made on a per-academic-term basis, with no expectation that employment will continue beyond the term. Compensation is paid per course, per semester, and depends on the course taught. The position has no state benefits.

Requirements

• Be a Licensed Practical Nurse with at least one year of nursing home experience, or a Registered Nurse.
• Hold a current, valid Georgia nursing license.
• Have strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy skills.
• Have experience in the field.
• Meet faculty credential requirements for the assigned course and applicable accrediting bodies.
• Submit an online application, cover letter, resume, and transcript if applicable.
• Complete a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle records review, and employer or professional reference verification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in classroom teaching.
• Train-the-Trainer for CNA certificate from GMCF.
• Experience using an online learning management system such as Blackboard Learning.
