About The Position

Athens Technical College is seeking a Dual Achievement Program Enrollment Coordinator to support prospective and current students through the program's admissions and enrollment processes. The coordinator responds to inquiries, verifies applicant files and admissions requirements, processes applications and student information, and advises students during registration periods. The role also includes conducting information sessions, reviewing transcripts to make enrollment decisions, staying current on intake policies and deadlines, and recruiting at community events, high schools, and career fairs. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of related work experience.
Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree.
Work experience in higher education or K–12 education.
Documented working knowledge of the Banner student information system.

Responsibilities

Respond to requests and inquiries from prospective applicants regarding the college’s programs and services.
Provide admissions support for the Dual Achievement Program.
Review student files to confirm required documents and admissions requirements are complete, and notify applicants of file status.
Ensure applicants meet the admissions requirements established by program standards.
Enter information into the Banner student system as needed.
Process student program applications and related information and prepare student files.
Advise students during early registration, open registration, and drop/add periods.
Conduct information sessions for prospective students.
Interpret high school and college transcripts and make program enrollment decisions.
Stay current on intake policies, procedures, deadlines, and information important to students.
Make recruitment visits to community events, high schools, and career fairs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
