Companion-Focused CNA/PCA Regular Clients-Mint Hill
About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking CNAs and PCAs to provide companion-focused in-home care to regular clients in Mint Hill and nearby East Charlotte. Caregivers work with one client at a time, usually for several hours in the client’s home, and are matched with clients based on personality and care needs to support consistent relationships. The role combines personal care with companionship, engagement, and emotional support. Home care experience is preferred but not required. The agency is family- and veteran-owned and offers full-time and part-time opportunities with regular weekly schedules.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina CNA certification or PCA experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Consistent availability and strong attendance.
- Patience, warmth, and professional communication.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions promptly and completely.
Nice To Haves
- Home care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, engagement, and emotional support.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance and maintain awareness of fall risks.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition.
- Follow care plans and instructions promptly and completely.
