About The Position

First Priority is hiring full- or part-time CNAs, PCAs, and Caregivers to provide non-medical home care services to clients receiving in-home care. Training is provided, and the role is presented as an entry-level opportunity to start a career in healthcare. Caregivers assist clients with activities of daily living, companionship, meal preparation and feeding when needed, and light housekeeping. They follow individualized care plans and company policies and report changes in clients’ conditions or behavior to a supervisor. Requirements

Be eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and other required screenings.
Have reliable transportation.
Be familiar with memory care practices and behavioral support strategies.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, PCA, or home care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Assist clients with dressing and toileting.
Provide mobility support and assistance with transfers.
Offer companionship and emotional support.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, tidying clients’ spaces, and changing linens.
Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior to a supervisor.
Follow individualized care plans and company policies.
