About The Position

Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to join its team and provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. The position offers a flexible schedule, weekly pay, support staff, and online training. Duties may vary depending on each client’s needs and include completing tasks in the client’s service plan. Requirements

• Current state license in good standing as a CNA or PSS.
• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
• Availability to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Nice To Haves

• Hoyer lift experience, specific to the client.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
• Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals, with assistance from clients when they are able.
• Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete other duties outlined in the Client Service Plan.
