About The Position

Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to join its team and provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. The role offers a flexible schedule arranged to meet caregiver needs, weekly pay, support staff, and online training. Duties may vary according to each client’s specific needs and Client Service Plan.

Requirements

Hold a current state license in good standing as a CNA or PSS.
Have at least 1 year of experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
Be available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
Be at least 18 years old.
Pass a background check.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
Be able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Have adequate physical endurance.

Nice To Haves

Hoyer Lift experience, specific to the client.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Plan, prepare, and serve meals, involving clients when they are able.
Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Complete other duties specified in the Client Service Plan.
