About The Position

Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to provide quality non-medical homecare to its veteran population. The position offers a flexible schedule, weekly pay, support staff, and online training. Caregivers assist clients with personal care, mobility, housekeeping, and meal preparation, and respond to emergencies. Duties may vary according to each client's needs and Client Service Plan. Requirements

Current state license in good standing as a CNA or PSS.
At least 1 year of experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
Availability to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation.
Adequate physical endurance.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

Hoyer lift experience, specific to the client.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Plan, prepare, and serve meals, with assistance from clients when they are able.
Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Complete all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
