About The Position

The Waters is hiring a CNA or Caregiver (CBRF) to support residents with activities of daily living under the supervision of a nurse. The role provides personal care, homemaking assistance, medication administration under a nurse’s direction, and dining support. Team members are expected to deliver strong customer service with courtesy, dignity, respect, compassion, and patience. The posting describes full- and part-time hours and multiple shifts, including a PM shift.

Requirements

• CNA applicants must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant credential in good standing in Wisconsin.
• Knowledge of the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA role.
• Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to communicate in a mode and manner the resident understands.
• Ability to remain calm, kind, and patient during difficult circumstances and emergencies.
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with residents and families while remaining approachable and empathetic.
• Ability to be flexible with hours, shift schedules, and assignments.

Nice To Haves

• One year of nursing assistant care experience in senior services.
• Current state department-approved medication administration certification.
• Current state department-approved CPR, First Aid, and Choking certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing and shampooing, oral hygiene, dressing and undressing, grooming, shaving, toileting, positioning and body alignment, mobility and transfers, and other care as designated.
• Provide other services as assigned, including skin and incontinence care, assistance with prosthetics, nail and foot care, functional skills, and monitoring or observing as needed.
• Perform homemaking tasks, including cleaning apartments and washing, folding, and putting away bed linens, towels, and personal clothing; make beds according to the service plan as needed.
• Under the direction and supervision of a nurse, administer residents’ medications in the prescribed dosage and at the prescribed time.
• Assist residents with dining, including helping with eating, delivering meals, and cleaning up after meals as needed.
• Provide strong customer service with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
