About The Position

The Caregiver, also known as a Resident Assistant (RA), provides services that maintain and support residents’ activities of daily living under the supervision of a Nurse. The role emphasizes customer service and treating residents with courtesy, dignity, and respect. The position is available full-time and part-time, with a stated pay range of $17.50 to $22 per hour and an opportunity to increase pay through the company’s growth program.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills and experience with, or ability to learn, electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to be flexible with hours, shift schedules, and assignments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of nursing or resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other designated care.
• Assist residents with dining.
• Perform homemaking tasks.
• Respond to and report changes in residents’ health status and recommendations for changes to their plans of care.
• Complete thorough daily charting.
• Collaborate with other community team members to deliver The Waters Way.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
