About The Position

The Caregiver, also called a Resident Assistant (RA), provides services that maintain and support residents’ activities of daily living under the supervision of a Nurse. The role emphasizes customer service, courtesy, dignity, and respect. This is a part-time position on the PM shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Pay is $17.25–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of nursing or resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal directions in English.
Basic computer skills and experience with, or ability to learn, electronic health record systems.
Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to be flexible with hours, shift schedules, and assignments.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other designated care.
Assist residents with dining.
Perform homemaking tasks.
Respond to and report changes in residents’ health status and recommendations for changes to their plans of care.
Complete thorough daily charting.
Collaborate with other community team members to deliver The Waters Way.
Perform other duties as assigned.
