About The Position

Lorien Columbia is hiring Nursing Assistants (CNA-I) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents. The role assists residents with activities of daily living and provides hands-on support in accordance with established policies and procedures. Nursing Assistants work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and help ensure each resident’s dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Lorien Columbia is the flagship location of Lorien Health Services, serving the community since 1977. The facility provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy, and has the only Korean nursing unit in Howard County. It has 215 beds across five nursing units, with plans to expand. The organization reports being named one of Maryland’s Top Nursing Homes by Newsweek Magazine each year since 2020.

Requirements

Hold an active Maryland CNA-I license.
Be able to safely lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents.
