About The Position

Senior Helpers Baltimore and Central Maryland is hiring male caregivers, CNAs, and GNAs to provide personalized, one-on-one home care for older adults in Baltimore County, Howard County, and Baltimore City. The role helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes. Paid training and orientation are provided, and the office team offers ongoing support. The agency describes itself as Maryland’s first and only CHAP Age-Friendly Care at Home Certified home care agency.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to pass all required background screenings.
Current TB screening or willingness to obtain one.
Comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, CNA, GNA, or home care experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Help clients with walking, transfers, and mobility.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide medication reminders.
Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities.
Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
Complete simple visit documentation.
