About The Position

Lorien Mays Chapel is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant I (formerly GNA) to provide person-centered care to residents in a supportive, team-focused skilled nursing and assisted living environment. The facility provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, 24/7 nursing and medical support, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. It incorporates telehealth and telemedicine into its care model.

The role is offered in full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules, with day, evening, and night shifts. Every-other-weekend availability, including Saturday and Sunday, is required. Pay is $20.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience, with shift differentials. The posting also describes same-day pay for all employees and a range of full-time benefits and employee perks.

Requirements

• Maryland GNA/CNA-I license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Compassionate, patient-focused personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday.
• Availability for day, evening, or night shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
