About The Position

Lorien Bel Air is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I), formerly known as GNA, to provide care and support to residents in a supportive, team-focused skilled nursing and assisted living community. The role involves helping residents with daily needs while promoting a safe and comfortable environment and communicating with nursing staff. Full-time and part-time hours are available, with day, evening, and night shifts. Availability every other weekend, including Saturday and Sunday, is required.

Requirements

• Maryland GNA license, valid and in good standing.
• BLS or CPR certification.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work every other weekend, including Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support to residents.
• Assist residents with hygiene, mobility, and meals.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff.
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment.
