About The Position

Lorien Mays Chapel is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I), formerly GNA, to provide person-centered care in a supportive, team-focused skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. The facility provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, with 24/7 nursing and medical support and physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. It incorporates telehealth and telemedicine into its care model. The role involves supporting residents with daily care and helping maintain a safe, comfortable environment. Pay is $20.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience. The posting lists full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules, with day, evening, and night shifts. Every-other-weekend availability is required.

Requirements

Maryland GNA/CNA-I license required.
BLS certification required.
Compassionate, patient-focused personality.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to safely lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds as part of daily responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Availability to work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide daily care and support to residents.
