About The Position

The CMMS & Materials Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the management of maintenance, spare parts, and operational material inventories. This position serves as the primary liaison between Maintenance, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Operations to ensure critical maintenance materials and production support materials are accurately planned, procured, received, stored, and controlled.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical technology.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order management and maintenance tracking.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and follow maintenance SOPs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with sputter systems, laser trim tools, wet benches, or photolithography equipment.
  • CMMS experience with eMaintenance, SAP, Maximo, or similar platforms.
  • Background in semiconductor or thin-film PV manufacturing.
  • SMRP Certification or willing to acquire

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory control for maintenance spare parts, consumables, and designated raw materials used in manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation of physical and system inventories.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure raw materials are available to support production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend reorder points, safety stock, and inventory optimization strategies.
  • Coordinate receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of production materials in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitor material shelf life, lot traceability, and inventory rotation (FIFO/FEFO) where applicable.
  • Support physical inventories and financial audits.
  • Participate in supplier evaluations, inventory reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize materials, reduce excess inventory, and improve inventory turnover while maintaining operational readiness.
