About The Position

We're seeking a detail-oriented CMMS Coordinator to support the facilities and maintenance team at our Brooklyn facility. This is a fully computer and data-focused role — not hands-on repair. You'll be the organizational backbone of the maintenance operation, keeping work orders moving, PM schedules on track, and repair costs under control. This role is contract-to-hire — perform well and you convert directly onto their team.

Requirements

2+ years of experience working in a CMMS or work order management system — this is the core of the role
Experience in a food production, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations environment — required
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working primarily on a computer
Strong communication skills — ability to coordinate with technicians, vendors, and management
Proactive, reliable, team-oriented
Reliable commute to Brooklyn, NY

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Fiix, Maximo, EAM Infor, eMaint, or similar CMMS platforms
Experience tracking KPIs such as PM compliance and equipment downtime
Background in food safety compliance (GMP, SQF)

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the CMMS/work order management system daily — creating, tracking, and closing work orders
Coordinate with the maintenance tech team to ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and completed on time
Work with vendors to schedule repairs, track costs, and drive repair spend down
Order parts and maintain accurate inventory levels
Track and report on equipment downtime, repair costs, and parts spend
Maintain accurate documentation across all maintenance activity
Support the Facilities Manager with data, reporting, and scheduling needs
