About The Position

The CLUB Customer Service Outfitter provides world-class customer service and introduces customers to the benefits of becoming a CLUB Member. The role serves as a product expert while carrying out account servicing and CLUB processes, including acquiring and activating new members, CLUB sales, supporting the customer experience, peer coaching and influencing, and regulatory compliance. The associate may also provide service to other areas of the store based on business needs.

The position operates under general supervision and established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and resolve problems from limited alternatives. The associate may recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures.
• Excellent self-motivation and initiative while working unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Support a commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Greet customers and offer the opportunity to become a Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s CLUB Member, or provide existing members with a unique and exclusive experience.
• Execute CLUB operational and compliance programs.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales.
• Help meet individual and store metric goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate CLUB inventory and keep the CLUB Booth clean and organized.
• Provide the full CLUB Member experience, including processing payments, answering account questions, and processing applications.
• Provide daily feedback and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide peer coaching, recognition, and support as a CLUB advocate and representative.
• Serve other store areas as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
