Cloud Engineer

Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Cloud Engineer to support the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. This position will involve providing systems engineering integration and architecture support, advising on software development and cloud architecture, and applying agile methodologies in a product owner role. The Cloud Engineer will also be responsible for creating Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifacts and building relationships with community stakeholders. The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication and a bachelor's degree in a related technical field, along with 5+ years of experience in systems engineering/architecture development and technical project management.

Document current MASINT processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) architectures and networks

Advising on software product development and incorporation into cloud architectures

Apply agile methodologies to advise on and support software development

Create Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifacts as needed

Support information on community acquisition efforts and prepare a program plan that lays out an integrated approach

Facilitate common architecture solutions to apply across the MASINT enterprise

Applies system engineering methodologies to enhance R&D and acquisition processes

Other duties as assigned

• Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
• Bachelors’ degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, math or information technology related technical fields
• 5+ years’ experience in a mix of systems engineering/architecture development and technical project management in support of the IC or DoD
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
• Masters’ degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, math or information technology related technical fields
• 10+ years’ experience in a mix of systems engineering/architecture development and technical project management in support of the IC or DoD
• Experience engineering / implementing operational prototypes is highly desired
• Experience working with Software Developers, System Architects and System Engineers
• Experience working with agile development methodologies, and/or agile certifications such as Product Owner
• Experience in MASINT processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED)
• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and Enterprise Architect
