About The Position

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for processing apparel merchandise shipments, from receipt of goods through stocking on the sales floor and in receiving. The role follows Visual Merchandising and MPS standards and uses the inventory management system to process and replenish merchandise. It also supports backroom organization, pricing and signage maintenance, unloading trucks, and customer service. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use company computer systems and devices, including System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, and the Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information, including plan-o-grams, visual guides, and merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reports to organize merchandise for filling the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to walk and stand regularly and perform computer work.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.

• Preferred degree: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise shipments upon receipt, following Visual Merchandising and MPS standards and using the inventory management system.
• Systematically replenish merchandise on the sales floor as required by Visual Merchandising standards, using the inventory management system.
• Stay informed about advertised sales to support backroom organization and replenishment.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with merchandise pricing maintenance and signage.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Keep backstock merchandise organized and accessible.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help ensure a pleasant shopping experience for guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
