About The Position

The Clothing Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role includes folding and organizing apparel, books, and other merchandise, as well as handling a range of other stocking and sales-floor tasks. Team members follow club policies and procedures, support a safe and positive environment, work collaboratively, and perform other duties or work in other departments as assigned. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Ability to perform the physical duties described, including frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds and moving heavier or awkward objects with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise signage is correct.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, and organized.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases, and replenish box bins.
• Use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Complete required training and certification processes.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
