About The Position

As a Closing Supervisor at Broulim’s, you will oversee the store’s closing operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and the store is ready for the next day’s business. You will lead and motivate a team, maintain store standards, and provide excellent customer service during closing hours. The role is non-exempt and reports to the Grocery Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a retail environment.
• Availability to work evening shifts and weekends.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Understanding of store operations and closing procedures.
• Knowledge of cash handling and register reconciliation.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Skill in addressing and resolving issues that arise during evening and closing hours.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service during evening and closing hours.
• Attention to detail in completing closing procedures and ensuring store readiness for the next day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate store employees during evening and closing hours.
• Ensure closing tasks are completed according to company standards and guidelines.
• Assist with cash management, including balancing registers and preparing deposits.
• Complete closing procedures, including securing the store and setting alarms.
• Address customer inquiries and issues that arise during evening and closing hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves as needed.
• Train and mentor closing team members to support efficiency and productivity.
