About The Position

Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer, and spirits. The Closing Sales Lead works the closing shift at the Brown Jug Northern Lights and Spenard Store (262), located at 1203 W Northern Lights Blvd. The role engages customers, provides customer service, and helps educate them about Brown Jug products. It also supports and motivates sales associates and assists the store management team as needed.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Strong communication skills for interactions with customers and sales staff.
Knowledge of or interest in wine, beer, and/or spirits.

Nice To Haves

Retail sales experience or related customer service training is a plus.
An Alcohol Server Card; it can be obtained after a job offer.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and engage them in conversation to identify their shopping needs.
Recommend additional items to customers to build the basket.
Answer customer questions and resolve concerns.
Motivate and energize sales associates to focus on great customer service.
Educate customers about company initiatives, current sales and features, Brown Jug-exclusive products, and special offerings such as the wine club.
Help keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and tagged.
Support the store management team as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
