About The Position

Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer, and spirits. The Closing Sales Lead engages with customers, provides customer service, and helps educate them about the products Brown Jug offers. The position is located at store #267, 2451 East Sun Mountain Village Drive, Wasilla, AK 99654. The hourly pay range is $19.00 to $22.00, with educational-based pay increases that can raise the hourly rate to over $30.00.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and sales staff.
Knowledge of or interest in wine, beer, and/or spirits.

Nice To Haves

Retail sales experience or related customer service training is a plus.
An Alcohol Server Card; it can be obtained after a job offer.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and engage them in conversation to identify their shopping needs.
Recommend additional items to customers to build the basket.
Answer customer questions and resolve concerns.
Motivate and energize sales associates to focus on great customer service.
Educate customers about company initiatives, current sales and features, Brown Jug-exclusive products, and special offerings such as the wine club.
Help keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and tagged.
Support the store management team as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
