About The Position

SAIC's Business Management closeout team is seeking a Closeout Specialist to perform a variety of closeout activities, with a heightened focus on closing subcontract agreements. This role is 100% remote. The specialist will close subcontracts and prime contracts as assigned, review and process subcontract invoices, and work with functional areas within SAIC and customers outside the company. The position requires tracking personal closeout statistics against department goals and deadlines, managing multiple projects, and adjusting quickly to emerging priorities. Additional responsibilities may include closeout submission of invoices and other duties as required by department needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, and task management capabilities.
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to motivate, support, and contribute to team success.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting government contracts.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Responsibilities

• Complete closeout of subcontracts issued by SAIC/acquisition as assigned.
• Complete closeout of prime contracts issued by SAIC as assigned.
• Review and process subcontract invoices.
• Interface with various functional areas inside SAIC.
• Interface with various customers outside SAIC.
• Be cognizant of department goals and deadlines and track personal closeout statistics to accomplish stated goals.
• Work multiple projects simultaneously and adjust quickly to emerging priorities on short notice.
• Submit invoices for closeout as needed and perform other duties required by the department.
