About The Position

SAIC's Business Management closeout team is seeking a Closeout Specialist to perform a variety of closeout activities, with a heightened focus on closing subcontract agreements. This role is 100% remote.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, and task management capabilities.
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to motivate, support, and contribute to team success.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting government contracts.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Responsibilities

• Complete closeout of subcontracts issued by SAIC/acquisition as assigned.
• Complete closeout of prime contracts issued by SAIC as assigned.
• Review and process subcontract invoices.
• Interface with various functional areas inside SAIC and customers outside SAIC.
• Track personal closeout statistics and work toward department goals and deadlines.
• Work multiple projects simultaneously and adjust quickly to emerging priorities on short notice.
• Submit invoices for closeout and perform other duties as required by department needs.
