About The Position

Acts as a collaborative member of the clinic team to provide continuity and quality patient care. Assesses and provides appropriate interventions for problems patients and families experience related to health care and treatment, including teaching, counseling, and support as needed. Assists the provider as a lead clinician and/or dedicated telephone assistant, and provides clinical oversight for the clinic’s clinical employees.

Requirements

High school graduation or GED.
Certified Medical Assistant credential.
At least two years of clinic experience in a primary care or pediatric care setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and change tasks frequently and quickly.
Ability to use a computer terminal, fax machine, and copy machine.
Attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment.
BCLS must be obtained during the orientation period.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy experience.
Knowledge of GPMS/EMR.
