About The Position
Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is hiring a full-time Clinical Triage RN/LPN/MA/RT for its Centralized Access Operations team. The role involves responding to patient calls, assessing symptoms and medical history to determine urgency and appropriate care, coordinating with healthcare providers and specialists, documenting interactions and interventions, and communicating concerns to clinical staff. The position requires effective multitasking, prioritization, and compliance with healthcare regulations, protocols, and quality standards. Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a stand-alone, not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. Requirements
- Current Missouri RN license, current Missouri LPN IV-Certified license, RMA, or RT.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Associate's degree.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
- Thorough knowledge of ethical and legal billing procedures.
- Previous Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls in a warm, friendly manner.
- Assess patients' conditions and medical history to determine urgency and an appropriate level of care.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and specialists as necessary.
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient interactions, assessments, and interventions.
- Escalate patient concerns to clinical staff via workload message, noting applicable conditions and requests.
- Multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, protocols, and quality standards.
