About The Position

SAFY is seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist to provide services for the Intensive Family Services (IFS) Program for our Lima Behavioral Health division Hardin County. As an IFS Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a range of moderately complex clinical services (diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, interventions, individual, family therapy, etc.) with children, adolescents, and identified adults. Requirements

  • LSW/LPC license in Ohio is required or license eligible.
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, child & family studies, or counseling is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the field of mental health/therapeutic intervention with children, adolescents, and families.

  • LISW/LPCC preferred
  • Experience with best practice models of clinical application preferred

Responsibilities

  • Make a difference in children’s lives who have been through difficult trauma and require your support/coaching to cope with their emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Complete identified diagnostic assessments, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans based on assessments.
  • Provide ongoing mental health/clinical services as needed or are required by contract.
  • Create documentation for all services you provide in our Electronic Record System.
  • Provide telehealth and in-office, direct services to families and children in your caseload.
  • In collaboration with the team, work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the families in your caseload.
  • You will be working with a caseload of 30-35 clients and expected to have 88 hours in utilization.
