About The Position

The Clinical Technician provides administrative and operational support to Clinical Services, assisting with daily claim review activities, client reporting, and clinical program initiatives under the supervision of a pharmacist. This role serves as a key liaison with provider offices, pharmacies, and internal departments to ensure effective coordination and delivery of services. The Clinical Technician is responsible for supporting client reviews, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and contributing to special projects as needed.

Requirements

At least two years of experience working for a specialty pharmacy or health plan, or at least four years of experience in a hospital or retail environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, exciting start-up environment with the ability to multi-task; responsibilities may vary from day to day.
Ability to think critically and strategically.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) –required.

Nice To Haves

4-year college degree (preferred).
Extensive knowledge of the PBM industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

Administratively support Clinical Account Executives regarding each client’s daily claim reviews.
Communicate administratively with provider offices and in-network pharmacies to support various clinical programs and initiatives under a pharmacist’s supervision.
Assist with compiling quarterly client review reports and presentation materials.
Support Clinical Services with ad-hoc projects and perform other related duties, as needed.
Effectively communicate and interact with all other EmpiRx Health departments, fostering teamwork and unity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
