About The Position

SpecialtyCare trains Clinical Technicians in Autotransfusion to operate equipment that collects a patient’s shed blood, separates and washes red blood cells, and returns them to the patient. This process, also called cell salvage, recycles the patient’s own blood rather than relying on donor blood and may reduce recovery time and avoid adverse effects associated with donor blood. The team also provides cell-based therapies, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and bone marrow aspirate concentrate. SpecialtyCare provides comprehensive in-house training, including on-the-job training, certification, and company-sponsored education modules.

Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the contracted hospitals.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and participate in a call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to be on call.
• Must successfully complete on-the-job training, including certification and company-sponsored education modules.
• Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a high-stress environment.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
