About The Position

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital – Medical is hiring a Clinical Technician 1 to provide direct patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses. The role is full-time, overnight, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with varying workdays and rotating weekends and holidays. Team members communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues and maintain professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. Additional duties may be assigned.

The role requires availability for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training. Training includes two virtual orientation sessions from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, six classroom-style shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, virtual training modules, and on-unit shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
• Availability for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training.
