About The Position
Inova Fair Oaks Hospital – Medical is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to provide direct patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses. The role includes communicating effectively with team members, patients, and visitors, and maintaining professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. Additional duties may be assigned. This is a full-time night role scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with varying workdays and rotating weekends and holidays. The employee must be available for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training, including virtual orientations, classroom sessions, virtual training modules, and on-unit shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
- Availability for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training.
