Clinical Support Tech
About The Position
Regions Hospital Infusion clinic is hiring a Clinical Support Technician with strong verbal and written communication skills. The position provides and/or supports patient care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards and HealthPartners policies and procedures. The technician may also function in a supply aid and/or sterilization capacity, maintaining a safe work area that is adequately stocked, cleaned, and organized. The role includes implementing cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of customer service experience and/or healthcare experience.
- Complete Medical Terminology and Pharmacology online courses within six months of hire.
- Complete a BLS course within one week of hire and maintain BLS certification in accordance with the American Heart Association (AHA). Online-only courses are not accepted.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program, or current registration as a pharmacy technician with one or more years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program and current Nursing Assistant Certification.
