About The Position

UW Health is seeking a Clinical Support Technician for an ENT clinic. The role supports clinic operations and patient care by completing routine scheduling, assisting with specimen collection and nasopharyngeal swabbing, administering medications (including injections) under supervision, checking patients in and recording relevant health information, and preparing patients for examinations or procedures. The position is listed as 100% FTE, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; hours may vary based on clinic needs.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Clinical health care experience preferred.
• MA, CNA, EMT, technician (PT, RT, Eye, etc.), Athletic Trainer, or other Allied Health discipline background, and/or enrollment as a student in an Allied Health program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine scheduling activities.
• Assist with nasopharyngeal swabbing tests and other specimen collection.
• Administer medication, including injections, under supervision.
• Perform patient check-in, including obtaining and recording vital signs, allergies, and current medications.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures, as appropriate.
