About The Position

The Clinical Support Associate provides safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff and maintains equipment and supplies according to unit standards. This position is part of the St. Paul float team, which supports hospital areas across the St. Paul campus. Float team members work across different units, applying their skills flexibly while contributing to teamwork, open communication, safety, and respectful, family-centered care.

Requirements

• Completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent experience, or completion of a nursing or health care-related clinical practicum course.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English to perform job functions.
• Basic computer operation skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff.

• Support different areas of the hospital on the St. Paul campus as part of the float team.
