About The Position

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Clinical Support Assistant to support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. The role assists with patient intake at the clinic level by collecting and tracking patient information, documenting in medical records, and serving as a liaison between patients and providers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or be between the ages of 15 and 17 with a valid work permit from their high school.
• Valid CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Successful completion of a related program and/or current C.N.A., EMT, PCT, or similar credential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and office staff.
• Schedule patient appointments in accordance with office protocols.
• Share patient information with providers.
• Maintain medical supply inventory in clinical areas.
• Assist with lifting patients and medical equipment when required.
