About The Position

Recover is a startup dedicated to improving the effectiveness and accessibility of addiction and mental health treatment for low-income individuals. They collaborate with governments to enhance treatment outcomes for those in need, with a specific focus on ensuring low-income Americans have access to the best available care. Recover employs a harm reduction approach and is committed to serving marginalized and underserved communities. The organization is seeking dedicated individuals to join their growing team, which includes professionals from prestigious institutions like Yale Law, UCLA School of Medicine, and Harvard Medical School, as well as former White House staff. As a Clinical Supervisor at Recover, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical staff of their substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs. Your responsibilities will include providing supervision to a team of clinicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to clients throughout their recovery journey. You will also collaborate with other organizational leaders to maintain program quality, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support the well-being of both clients and staff. This position requires a candidate with strong clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a genuine passion for positively impacting the lives of individuals facing addiction.

Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in addiction treatment or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, managing clinical staff in a behavioral health setting
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for substance use disorder, including but not limited to CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Experience or passion for working with marginalized and underserved populations

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve diagnoses and assessments with Recover’s clinical staff of therapists, counselors, and case managers
  • Ensure that all clinical staff are delivering evidence-based practices in line with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.
  • Treat a partial caseload of SUD clients
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
