Clinical Supervisor (RN)
About The Position
Always Best Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their leadership team as a Clinical Supervisor on Oahu. This role is for an experienced home health nurse ready for career advancement. The Clinical Supervisor will lead and support the clinical team, enhance patient care, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain high clinical standards for the agency. This position involves a mix of leadership and hands-on work, including supervisory visits, clinical support, and occasional direct patient care, as well as mentoring field clinicians. The role is based in Oahu, Hawaii.
Requirements
- Current Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification
- At least 1 year of home health experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to travel throughout Oahu
- Ability and willingness to perform patient visits and provide clinical coverage when needed
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable coaching and supporting clinical staff
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ambulatory care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and support field clinicians
- Serve as a clinical resource for RNs, LPNs, therapists, and home health aides
- Assist with orientation, training, competencies, and staff development
- Conduct supervisory visits and provide coaching
- Review assessments, plans of care, and clinical documentation
- Help coordinate care for complex and high-risk patients
- Ensure care is delivered according to provider orders and the plan of care
- Perform patient visits, including SOCs, ROCs, supervisory visits, and other skilled nursing visits as needed
- Assist with field coverage when necessary to maintain continuity of care
- Review OASIS and clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness
- Help ensure documentation supports skilled need and medical necessity
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and QA team on chart reviews and performance improvement
- Support compliance with Medicare, regulatory, and agency requirements
- Participate in QAPI and performance improvement initiatives
- Identify clinical trends and opportunities for improvement
- Help strengthen workflows, communication, and continuity of care
- Support staffing and clinical operations
- Provide appropriate after-hours clinical availability and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
Benefits
- $120,000–$125,000 annual salary
