About The Position
The Clinical Social Worker performs patient assessment, psychotherapy, and coordination of services. The role collaborates as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and deliver treatment and discharge plans for patients. This position is scheduled for 32 hours per week, with a day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and every other weekend. The listed hiring range is based on a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week; compensation for reduced schedules is prorated and may vary based on scheduled hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. A signing bonus may be available, with eligibility confirmed during the interview process.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Current Massachusetts Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) licensure.
- One to three years of social work experience.
- Demonstrated ability in psychosocial assessment, knowledge of community resources, crisis intervention skills, discharge planning, and working with a multidisciplinary team.
- Data compilation and analysis skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake interviews with patients and families to develop psychosocial evaluations.
- Participate in treatment planning during initial interviews and coordinate daily team meetings.
- Provide psychosocial assessments and treatment, individual and group education or therapy, including for dual-diagnosis cases, and associated social work services.
- Serve as a primary clinician for individual, couples, and family therapy.
- Coordinate treatment planning with outpatient providers.
