About The Position

Requirements

  • Must have either LCSW, LMFT or LPCC license for a minimum of five years and be able to provide BBS supervision.
  • A valid California driver's license, dependable personal automobile for use on the job, insurable by SBS’s insurance policy based on DMV record and personal vehicle insurance.
  • Minimum of 2 + years’ experience as a Clinical Supervisor required.
  • Fulfillment of TB clearance, fingerprinting and state clearance, and any other mandatory state/federal requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing direct services work, at different levels of service, such as specialty mental health or other county level behavioral services preferred.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and document group and individualized supervised hours for licensure and clinical oversight.
  • Responsible for assuring timely submission of Medi-Cal and School based billing co-signatures.
  • Review and approve Treatment Plans, assessments and other reports by all supervisees, this includes CANS/PSC and other relevant documents around clinical care.
  • Support, guide and oversee The Joint Commission compliance standards and alignment with agency policies, practices and procedures.
  • Ensure culturally sensitive and relevant treatment.
  • Actively support and implement a strength-based, culturally competent, client-centered approach to working with Clinicians.
  • Review and approve treatment plans, assessments, and other reports by all supervisees.
  • Participate in external and in-services trainings relevant to the program services.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and leadership activities throughout the region and agency.
  • Provide on-call support after hours for the clinical team.
  • Provide supervision coverage across the agency as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as needed by Side by Side.
