About The Position

The Clinical Services Coordinator provides professional nursing care to patients in the ambulatory care area. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, evaluate, and document patient care. The coordinator arranges admissions and prior authorizations and demonstrates professional practice consistent with The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s standard of care, mission, and goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory care clinical setting.
• Current New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current New York State Licensed Nurse Practitioner.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience using an Electronic Medical Record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole.
