About The Position

The Clinical Services Coordinator provides professional nursing care to patients in the ambulatory care area. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, evaluate, and document care, and arranges admissions and prior authorizations. The coordinator demonstrates professional practice in accordance with The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s standard of care, mission, and goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Master’s degree in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner.
• At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory care clinical setting.
• Current New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Current New York State Licensed Nurse Practitioner license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience using an Electronic Medical Record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole.
