The Clinical Research Budget Analyst (CRBA) is responsible for the calendar build and development of medium to high complexity Coverage Analyses (CA) and the maintenance and update of the coverage determinations for protocol amendments. The position is responsible for the development and negotiation of budgets for clinical research studies regardless of funding source, including industry sponsors, grants, awards, fellowships, cooperatives, etc. This position captures all administrative fees, items and services, and investigator and study team efforts required to carry out the study. The incumbent will be responsible for developing an internal cost budget to inform budget negotiation and ensure all costs are captured in the final sponsor budget. This role will provide guidance to junior colleagues and serve as an expert resource for the research community as well as to define and improve workflows. The incumbent will leverage current and future Seattle Children's systems, such as a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), to support pre-award activities.
