About The Position

Emerald Clinical Trials is building a talent pipeline of experienced Clinical Project Managers for future clinical development programs due to anticipated growth throughout North America. This is a pipeline posting and may not correspond to an immediate vacancy. The role is home-based in the US and will provide leadership for regional and global clinical trials, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in renal, oncology, cardiometabolic, and autoimmune diseases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of clinical research experience
  • 2+ years of Clinical Project Management experience within a CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-site or global clinical trials
  • Strong financial, operational, and leadership capabilities
  • Excellent knowledge of GCP and FDA regulations
  • Ability to travel as required

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in renal/nephrology clinical trials is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical studies.
  • Manage sponsor relationships and serve as the primary operational contact.
  • Oversee timelines, deliverables, budgets, and project financial health.
  • Drive study performance and ensure milestones are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Medical, Regulatory, and Biostatistics.
  • Manage vendors and third-party providers.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ICH-GCP, and company procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
  • Support business development initiatives and proposal activities.
