Clinical Program Coordinator - Telestroke
About The Position
The Clinical Program Coordinator will provide clinical leadership for UW Health’s Comprehensive Stroke Program and coordinate activities of the Telestroke Program. The role focuses on optimizing clinical workflows, tracking clinical quality metrics, leading quality improvement initiatives, and developing action plans that are communicated to program leaders. The coordinator will develop and maintain program education materials and coordinate and participate in stroke community education, EMS education, and outreach programs. The position also serves as a clinical resource in developing and implementing goals and strategies to support the Telestroke Program’s continued growth and success throughout Wisconsin and beyond. The role is based at the East Madison and University Hospital locations in Madison, Wisconsin, and is 100% FTE on day shifts, with no weekends or holidays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a health care setting.
- Experience leading programs and/or projects with teams.
- Wisconsin RN license, required upon hire.
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification, required upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience in neuroscience program development.
- Knowledge and experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs.
- Experience in neuroscience or stroke nursing.
- SCRN certification.
- CNRN certification.
Responsibilities
