About The Position

Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business is seeking applications for a non-tenure track position in the Finance Department. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Finance or a related field, a strong record of teaching excellence, and significant contributions to the field or industry. Responsibilities include teaching 24 credit hours annually, participating in university service, and delivering high-quality instruction in both in-person and online formats across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The position begins in Fall 2027. The Finance Department is known for its respected research faculty and effective teaching faculty, fostering an outstanding student experience. Requirements

Graduate degree in Finance or a related field such as Economics
Three-year experience teaching finance courses at a university level, preferably at a business school
